SPY555-FastAct? is a new and unique fluorescent live cell actin probe. It labels very dynamic actin filaments as well as the more static ones. SPY555-FastAct? is a bright, fluorogenic, non toxic, cell permeable and highly specific live cell probe for fluorescence imaging of actin. It does not require any transfection and works just by adding the probe to the cells and perform imaging a couple of hours later.

Product contains 1 vial of SPY555-FastAct? in lyophilised form allowing to prepare 50 ul of 1000x DMSO stock solution (100 stainings*).

SPY555-FastAct? is a bright, orange, fluorogenic & non toxic F-actin stain based on our SPY? dyes series. Its optimized structure allows to label F-actin in live cells with high specificity and low background. The unique and unmatched feature of SPY555-FastAct? is its ability to label very dynamic actin, like LifeAct?** but the probe does not require any genetic manipulation, transfection or overexpression of fluorescent proteins. SPY555-FastAct? is based on our bright, photostable & orange SPY555 fluorophore which is far superior than fluorescent proteins.

SPY555-FastAct? enables multicolor imaging with SPY505, SPY595, SPY650, SPY700, SiR and GFP. SPY555-FastAct? can be imaged with standard TMR or Cy3 settings. It can be used for widefield, confocal, SIM or STED imaging in living or fixed cells and tissue. Probe quantity allows 100 staining experiments.*

*Based on the following conditions: 0.5 ml staining solution / staining experiment with 1x probe concentration. The number of staining experiments can be further increased by reducing the staining solution volume or the probe concentration.
